Her Passion For Music
Music! I've had a passion for music since I started walking. One of the reasons I'm not looking forward to passing away
is because I'm afraid that in the afterlife there will be no music. That would make me pass away again! If I were desserted
in an island, I would miss it immensely. Yes, I will sing to replace it and make some instruments, but there is nothing like
the variety of music that we have out there. One of the things that I can't figure out with the typical american is "How
come with the vast great music we have out there in the world, they only listen to a few types and stick only to the top 40?"
People who tell me they love music but only listen to what is considered popular make me doubt that they have a true passion
for it. I don't mean to be nit picky about this, but it's just that I believe people should expand more in this arena. The
world is huge!!! And there is so much to explore in concerns with music. Ah well...I do go on. Forgive me. Nevertheless,
I am dedicating this page to my #1 passion, music! I hope that in this page you will find yourself interested in broadening
your music taste. Try it! You'll be surprised and you might just find yourself wanting to discover different types of music
and styles. Here I will list all the artists, types of music, songs I adore, and the music sites that helped me expand my
music collection over the years, which is by the way about 1000 and still growing! :)
Here are the types of music I enjoy listening to, along with favorite favorite artists and songs.
1.Rare 60's-Early 70's psychedelic, chamber, baroque, bumblegum, and pop music! I gear towards the trippy, quirky, playful,
whimsical, or spacey kind. Forget those boring oldies stations playing the same songs over and over. Try listening to these
bands. They are quite talented, and just plain something else to listen to. You'll find these artists along with audio clips
of most of their songs at Amazon or All Music.
1.Gandalf(no not the Celtic Gandalf one, I'm speaking of the band who produced one album in the late 60's. "Scarlet
Ribbons", "Me About You", and "Golden Earrings"
2.Sagitarius. "Another Time", "My World Fell Down", and, "The Truth Is Not Real"
3.Love "Que Vida","Orange Skies", and "Alone Again Or"
4.The Yellow Balloon(okay, you're probably wondering what they were thinking when they band gave themselves this
name, but they're awesome. I think they're better than the beach boys. Hands down! "How Can I Be Down", "Panama
Red", "Can't Get Enough Of Your Love"
5.The Neon Philharmonic... Good grief! This one CD was expensive. About 36 dollars, but well worth it. :) "Morning
Girl", "Brilliant Colors", and "Midsummer Night"
6.The Clique "I'm Alive", "The Shadow Of Your Smile", and "Sparkle And Shine"
