Getting To Know Her

Hi! My name is Nora Arianna.....Yeah like I'm going to give you my whole entire name so that you can Google me. I don't think so. I just don't want you to find out about my many crimes. Just jivin'. Really I am shhhhhhh. Anyway, enough of that, until later with my jivin'. Nevertheless, I am a female(yes truly), born of Puerto Rican parents and grandparents directly from Spain. Ole! I am also of a couple of other races, but this can go on forever. Mainly, I am of latin heritage. Hence, why I peg myself Latinessa(duh! Ha ha!). I was born in New York State and raised in Brooklyn. Yo! I don't have much of a Brooklyn accent so I am sorry, but I can't entertain you there. :(I grew up in a challenging neighborhood and I often felt down and depressed over the circumstances there. I felt like an outsider and couldn't understand why people would continue to live and raise children there. It wasn't pretty. It was rough, chaotic, loud, messy, dirty, and most buildings had graffiti written all over them. I often shook my head and wondered why people chose to throw garbage on the streets, pick fights with others, indulge in drugs, or just plain ignore it all. I couldn't. I longed to be out of there and sure, yes, I do have fond memories growing up there for nothing is completely bad, but I wanted serenity and I wanted more order. Sooooo....I moved out as soon as I got my first job. That was back in 1988. I ended up here in Washington State after much traveling around the US. I miss NYC, for it's diversity, many cultures, nightlife, art, etc, but I don't miss that little part of Brooklyn I grew up in. Not at all. I'm completely happy where I am in Washington. I am open to living somewhere else though in the near future, but not in a dysfunctional environment. I don't thrive in environments like that. Who does? Lastly, scroll down for my stats, my birthday(not all of it though :P), and other tidbits about me, Nora Arianna...etc.
